My Canon 90D gives me an error 30. But only when the Tamron 100-400 is attached the Canon lenses are OK.
I cleaned the lens contacts, reset the camera to factory settings with no results. The lens works fine on another canon body. But just the combination 90D and Tamron is a no go since this morning. Anyone ideas?

When does the error code pop up. Does it pop up when you turn the camera on. Or does it pop up when you try to take a picture. What is the FULL NAME of the Tamron lens. Canon doesn’t ensure compatibility with 3rd Party lenses. It’s up to Tamron to ensure compatibility NOT Canon.

It’s a Tamron 100-400 and worked great the last 3 years.

What’s the FULL NAME Tamron 100-400mm is not enough. Tamron has made multiple lenses with that focal length.
