7dmkii Main Board Battery Switch

Good day,my 7dmkii recently stopped turning on. The local repair shop says its the battery switch on the main board that needs replacing. Unfortunately this part is not available in Trinidad where I am from. 

Does anyone know if this is a part that can be ordered? If not does it make sense to ship to Canon for repairs?

Never knew there was a battery switch on the main board. Battery door is more like it. I am also surprised they spent time troubleshooting the main board. 

get a second opinion.
