5D Mark iv blue Buttons not working (Rate, Playback, magnifier, and trash)

Hi All

I am new the the 5D Mark IV, switched from sony.  I just purchased my 5d but left side buttons (blue ones) are not working.  Before I sent in to get potentially repaired I wanted to check if there was something I was missing on this ??

any help would be appreciated.

Is there a control lock on the camera?

No it’s not

Then call Canon at the 1-800 number they will walk you through some troubleshooting, and if necessary, arrange for the repair.
