I have a 5D Mark II camera, with 5 years of use, with approximately 45 thousand shots.
The same error message was displayed (Err) and after a single time the Err 70 message, now it only switches on and off the battery, as if the chane ON, has no function anymore.
I have already done all the basic procedures, checking counts, cards, battery and even replacing the battery of the watch without success.
It is working normally, recording image and video.
In connection with Canon Brazil, I was informed that ERRO 70 refers to a failure in the main circuit or CMOS sensor.
Thank you

I performed the indicated procedures without success.
My Mark II keeps responding only when removing and replacing the battery again
