Is the in-camera upscaling limited to specific lenses? The subscription Neural Network ad-on to DPP does not have lens profiles for all RF lenses, such as the RF800/11, which is a pain.

It doesn't state any lens limitations. Also doesn't state that in-camera lens aberration correction needs to be enabled, so I would guess the tool automatically applies the DLO profile for the lens.
The technical white paper for the tool is unclear relative to whether unsupported lens use the "regular" DLO data. The tool supports the 1D X Mark III but there are no EF lenses in the list.

For me the limitation is that you can only make a JPG image from the in-camera scaling and you have to have a JPG image to start with. Something that I want that large is likely to be something that I want the flexibility of a RAW image to work with.
