Resolved! Opinions on Extenders, please?

Extender EF 2x III - or the EF 1.4x III.  Same price.  Other than the obvious, why one over the other?  Are the optics equal? Thanks!

I am using 16-35mm 1:2.8 Canon EF lens. Being wide angle I have noticed the far left and right sides of the images are not sharp. Using auto focus around F11. Does anyone have an explanation.

Just got a Canon 100mm IS L macro. Now what?

It is winter so bugs are in short supply. I have a good tripod. I have only played a bit with it but it has fantastic bokeh for my girls' birthday cake in front of our Christmas tree.  :).  Any my suggestions on how to dive in?

Resolved! Is there an aperture difference between lenses?

Happy Holidays. I've been thinking too much again.  Let me start with what is probably a false assumption.  Suppose I have a lens that uses a 58mm filter, and another that uses a 77mm filter.  For argument's sake, I'm assuming that the lens elements ...
