Trouble registering EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens

Trying to register an EF lens I just received. Canon doesn't seem to recognize their own products.

EF 75-300 mm f/4-5.6III

Why is this do difficult?

Try again without the space between the numbers and the m. "EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM" and remember to select it from the drop down when it populates. If that doesn't work please let us know specifically what is happening (With screenshots if possible!)
