I am using a Benro copy of the Wimberly design because when I needed it the Wimberly was on backorder. So far I have been completely pleased with the Benro version, it seems well made and remains smooth and free of any sloppiness in movement. It easily handles the 10 pound EF 800 f5.6 with 3 pounds of 1DX III hanging off the lens.
And that is a very nice shot of protective mother and calf!
