Smallest combo possible for EOS R10 and 22-24mm range prime

Does anyone have insight into the real life size difference between these 2 lens options on the R10 or R7? Looking to set up the smallest lens combo with my R10 in the 22-24mm range for travel. I own the RF35mm F1.8 already but looking for something wider.

Option 1 ($320)

EF-S24mm F2.8 STM + EF to RF adapter

Option 2 ($600)

RF24mm F1.8 MACRO IS STM

Do you already own the EF-RF adapter?

@verdas

If you are looking for a 22 to 24 mm focal length and are mounting a lens intended for full frame on your R10 make sure you account for the field of view equivalent or crop factor.

If you are looking for the most compact setup then introducing an adapter is going to add considerable length.

If you use the RF16 mm f2.8 on your R10, it will give you a field of view equivalent of 25.6 mm.

Are you looking for a specific focal length or the most compact setup?

Others have answered your question between the two listed lenses.  Ignoring your 22-24mm  specifications , but meeting "wider" and "prime" requirements in order of size and not on your list:

  1. RF 24mm f/2.8 STM (pancake lens)
  2. RR 16mm f/2.8 STM (smaller than your 35mm but bigger than the 24mm)

Ignoring "prime" adds RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM

Just making sure you're aware of the available options.
