I would either Google "macro photography" or go to a user type forum, such as "www.uglyhedgehog.com" That forum has a section on Macro Photography, which is closely moderated. You can see peoples setups, cameras, and how to... There are also posted photos of macro work from many users. By the way (BTW) if you have a Canon EF 100 f2.8L IS USM you have the best in the business. It will also take some really great portraits, with great Bokah. (blurred background)
