I have a Sigma APO 170-500mm, 1:5-6.3 lens. Is it worth getting fixed?

The aperature is stuck at about 5.0. It fits both my EOS 10D and my EOS Rebel T3. Is it worth getting fixed or is my money better spent on a new lens?

It may be still under warranty. Depends on how long you've had it. But I'm a Siogma fan and all my lenses are Sigma. Sigma will let you know what to do. They are in New York so contact them.
Did see what caused it to be broke.....

You mean it is stuck wideo open? I only think a very few third party lenes are worthy of Canon cameras. Sigma makes some and Tamron has a couple, Tokina makes one but most are not. Glass is where it's at, man!
I don't believe your Sigma is still in the line, maybe it is but it's a pretty old design. I would give them a shout but I wouldn't spend any large sum to repair it. Anything is worth a try.
EOS 1D, EOS 1D MK IIn, EOS 1D MK III, EOS 1Ds MK III, EOS 1D MK IV and EOS 1DX and many lenses.
