hey! long time lurker, first time poster, but basically in the last year or so I've moved from a hobbyist photographer to starting to do some professional work on tours mainly with DJs in the techno and trance scene. I'm shooting on my R6, and currently mostly work with the nifty fifty (f/1.8) and the 24-105mm f/4-7.1.
I'm looking for a wide angle zoom lens, as a lot of my work is quite close to the artist, usually around them up on (usually surprisingly small) stage especially for video, but my budget isn't massive as I'm only finishing university and don't really have steady income yet. I'm ideally looking for something that has a consistent max aperture no higher than f/4, that has a pretty quick AF for these kinds of high energy scenes.
I've been looking at a few options, and if anyone has any experience with these lenses I'd love to hear your recommendations or if you have any others you would suggest I'd love to hear it! I think I'll need an adapter with all of these but if that wont affect the functionality thats not a problem.

What is your budget for a lens Canon has a couple of options. But fast aperture lenses come with a hefty price tag.

In addition to what Demetrius suggested, you might want to consider the RF15-30mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM as it's $449. It's by far the lowest priced wide-angle lens, but it does compromise on the aperture as it starts from f/4.5 and drops to f/6.3 when zoomed in. The next step is the RF14-35mm F4L IS USM at $1299.
