That is the lens. I have never seen lenses with Mark II, just II. Cameras have Mark II designation.

Great lens. I still have one. I only used it a handful of times but it never failed to impress me. It's an excellent lightweight travel zoom with above average sharpness. It's model designation is II. It would pair nicely with a T8i.

You can tell it is the correct 70-300 by the LCD screen.
(BTW, I don't think the polarizer is worth $113!)

Nice lens you will love it.
This is the important part you need to look for ..........

I agree with everyone on this. My wife used this lens on her T7i and for a short period on her R6. It's a very nice lens. EB's statement needs to be repeated, make sure it is Shipped and Sold by Amazon.
Although I wouldn't add that $15 polarizer, I would add a lens hood. Personally, I like the Canon brand hoods because of the construction and fit. Over the years, I've bought cheap hoods for my Canon glass and, like the price, they felt cheap, fit poorly, and the inside didn't do a good job of dispersing or breaking up side light. Things may have changed since I bought cheap 🤔
The lens hood you want is the ET-74B. Don't be alarmed if the description says it's for the RF 100-400mm because it fits both.
