400mm DO f/4 lens collar needed...

Mine broke yesterday. Which one fits this and maybe other lenses?  There are no marks or lableas on mine.

Will the 100-400 collar fit the 400 DO, as well?   Thanks!

I don't have the 400mm DO but I bet "Really Right Stuff" will have one.  And it will be better than the original.

The EF 400mm DO IS tripod ring has 4 cutouts to fit the 4 mounting lugs on the barrel of the lens.  It looks quite large and  I bet it is unique to the 400mm DO.

I doubt there is a 3rd party version available

Your only options will be to buy a new one from Canon, or else repair the one you have.

"C (WII)" fits 70-300mm L

"D (B)" fits 100L Macro

I fixed the one I have ; got the stripped screw out and then was able to get the nut and lock washer back on , inside rthe casing.  Whew!
