I lost a screw on my Canon EF 400 f2.8 IS USM. Part #XA9-1073. Does anyone know where I might find one? Thanks!

McMaster-Carr is my favorite source for any uncommon fasteners, this is their general category page for different screws where you can look in the correct category for one that matches the look/size/specs:  https://www.mcmaster.com/products/screws/

When in doubt itis always best to call Canon 1 (800) 652-2666.

I used McMaster-Carr and Grainger all the time in my once day job form years ago. I would really be surprised if they had the exact screw and how will you know the exact size to order it?  But I don't know what screw you are after and some are proprietary and Canon could be the only source.

Greetings,

The direct number for the Canon Parts Dept is (866) 481-2569. Weekdays from 9 AM - 7 PM, ET.  Parts availability will depend on which version of the lens you have and if it's still under support.  The mkIII Is still under support.
