I lost the ability to scan on my printer. I tried re-installing and finally I see Scanner Management but when I click to Scan Photos or Documents, it tells me I need the WIA driver to use the device. It tells me to get it from the installation CD or from the manufacturers website and try again. There is also a link to Display Scan Profiles for WIA Driver and when I click on this, I get the same message. Reinstalling doesn't seem to help so I guess it isn't on the installation CD. Can someone help, please? Thank you!

I am using Windows 10 and WiFi to connect. I was able to get it working but I’m not sure what worked. One was to go to Services, looking for WIA (Windows Imaging Acquisition) and to start it up but it was already running. Tried to stop and restart but it wouldn’t let me. Then to Device Manager and uninstalled which said when rebooted the drivers would be reinstalled. After a few reboots it seemed to correct itself but I don’t know why.
