"Required Privilege to access scanner"?????

Just installed my Canon MX922 and needed to scan a document.  It says I do not have required privileges to access this folder.  I have Windows 10.I am the only one using this computer and do not use an administrator sign in.  I updated the driver and the image garden program.  How do I get privileges to access this printer's functions?

Hello.

The IJ Scan Utility program is the program that controls the scanner.  It appears that the program is not able to save files to the default save location.  Please open the program and go to the Settings menu to select a new Save location for your scans for both the Photo and Document options.
