My Pixma mx 712 has recently developed a vertical line about 2 inches from the left side on the printed product from the ADF feed. i have cleaned the glass and it still occurs.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi adam12,

When scanning from the ADF, the scanner uses the smaller glass section to the left of the platen.

Please clean this with a lint free cloth and attempt to scan again.  If the issue persists, the line could be caused by a scratch in the glass, in which case, your PIXMA MX712 would require service.
