pixma tr8620 stopped printing

Hi, our first tr8620 stopped feeding paper from the bottom and Canon replaced it.  after about 2 months this new printer suddenly stopped printing.  the computer sees the printer and says it has started printing but nothing happens.  this happens if I try to print from Word or the internet.  The funny thing is that if I try something like print head alignment, it prints fine.  I have reinstalled all the softward and drivers but nothing has helped.  can someone please help me, thanks.

thanks for responding.  I did and Canon has sent me my third printer as they agreed that the first one they replaced was defective.  The new printer connected to all my computers with no problem.  Hopefully this is the end to my problems.
