I seem to have lost my previous post, so lets try again. Printer does NOT want to leave scan mode. Hardwired to computer. When I place a sheet on the flatbed, to make a copy, it wants to do a scan. this takes time, and probably uses more ink. Previous PIXMA, I would use Windows Fax and Scan to scan, otherwise I would simply receive a copy. Not so here. Pressed lots of buttons, unplugged to reset, used the software, but no icon for just copying, Bruce
