new 3620 poor print quality

new MG 3620 that I just bought & installed.

Printing a picture from PC via USB cable.

Pictures print dark & look poor quality.

When I click Printer Properties ONLY options are:

Paper Source

Media

B&W  or  color

If I click on Advanced, it goes to a flow chart that has a Graphic / Print Quality with a drop down box, only options are 300x300 or 600x600

I'm sure this printer can print a nice picture, I just can't find where to adjust the quality settings.

I have tried printing through several sources.

I have looked all over the printer settings

Hi artbrock65,

It sounds like you may be using Windows generic drivers rather than the full Canon drivers, so let's make sure you have the full set.

1. Disconnect the USB cable.

2. Click HERE.

3. Scroll down to "Optional Drivers."

4. Click “Select” next to "MG3600 series MP Drivers."

5. Press "Download."

6. Open and run the file.

7. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
