Hi,
I recently upgraded to El Capitan. I just tried to scan for the first time. The computer controls the scanner fine and it looks like it is all working, but the files that result can't be opened and have no associated image. They come up as a question mark. When I try to open them I get this message: File cannot be opened. It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognize.
the file is listed as a jpg. Nothing has happened to the printer and the only thing that has changed in the computer is the upgrade. Do I need a new printer driver?
