my new mg2522 printer/scanner prints but I can't make it scan. Drivers have been "installed successfully.
from another source I was told that the mg2622 is not compatible with macOS Monterey V12.1 which is the latest. is this true?

Greetings,
Drivers for OSX 12 do exist for your printer/scanner:
Support | MG Series | PIXMA MG2522 | Canon USA
The ICA driver is what supports scannng.

Maybe, but neither Canon nor Apple support can help me find it. Yes, I have successfully installed The ICA driver several times. Also, the fine print on the box does NOT include V. 12.1 among the compatible Mac os's so I guess it's y fault.. It's disappointing to say the least to find that a brand new printer is not compatible with the latest Mac OS. It's not like I'm trying you use a Commodore 64.
