mg2120 is not recognizing new ink cartridges. why???

Hello,

 

Please make sure all of the orange protective packaging tape has been removed from the ink cartridges. If so, please take them out of the printer and place them back in again.

 

If the issue persists, please let us know which ink cartridges you are using, as well as the specific error message appearing from either the printer or computer.
