magenta ink cartridge not registering, brand new cartridge, cyan too.

 

These are not canon inks but I have not had this problem before with other inks. Very frustrating, computer board is not connecting correctly on ink cartridge. I tried 2 sets of brand new cartidges for Pixma MX922.

 

I got the following error messages:

 

Support Code : 1681 More than one ink tank of the following color is installed. "Magenta ‎<M>‎"  Use only one ink tank per color at a time.

Support Code : 1660 The following ink tank cannot be recognized. "Magenta ‎<M>‎"  Printing cannot be executed because the ink tank may not be installed properly or may not be compatible with this printer. Install the appropriate ink tank.
