is the IJ Scan Utility able to scan 2-sided

I'm using a CANON TR4520. I'm able to scan to a 1-sided pdf, but I don't see any setting for 2-sided. Is it capable of 2-sided scanning?

I contacted CAnon Support and learned that indeed the Scan Utility is capable of doing 2-sided copy. It's documented in the following:
