iP 7220 Photo Quality trouble - vertical banding - Roller trouble??

4x6 prints are showing vertical banding - 

I did all the head cleaning and adjustments including custon adjustments -

  output sheets look fine.

1.  Could it be the Rollers?? if so - how to clean

2.  I bought a replacement head on EBAY - but can't get the old head out to do the replacement - watched some videos of course.  pulling the color descriptor forward doesn't release the head - I'm afraid to pull it too hard as the plastic parts might crack.

any ideas for item 1 and 2 above??  THANKS!!!
