I have an iMac, M1 running Sonoma 14.2.1. I installed all of the necessary drivers for the Pixma ix6820 printer. I am connected to my network via wifi. When I go to the system settings > printers > add printer, my printer cannot be found.
I then connect my printer to my computer by USB, use the IJ Network Tool app > setup > select the printer to be used for the network > select my wireless router name > connect. I get a window that says "the printer could not be connected to the specific wireless router. The network password you entered is incorrect or does not correspond to the selected wireless router."
I can only add my printer by USB, once I disconnect it disappears. Please help, as I can not have my printer connected via USB permanently.
FYI: I recently switched from AT&T to Xfinity.
