how do I retrieve a foreign body from my pixma mg2950

my grandson has dropped 50p down the paper shute on his pixma mg2950 and it stopped working ihave released the top cover but cannot see it or hear it rattle       any ideas    thanks

It would be best to let an experienced professional examine it.  But, for the price of the printer, it's cheaper to buy a new one than to get it repaired. Shipping it back and forth to a repair shop will likely cost you more than a new one.

I do not encourage anyone to disassemble a piece of electronics, even if they claim to have experience.  In this case, however, maybe you know a friend with the technical expertise.  It isn't working, you say.  Not much to lose.
