Hi all, I'm looking for a comparable scanner to CanoScan D646U, which finally bit the dust after 13 years of service. Any recommendations?
I mainly need the scanner to scan books (such as textbooks borrowed from university library for writing my papers) so I need a scanner that can still clearly scan the part of the book that's close to the spine and not touching the glass. CanoScan D646U had done a good job of it, as I usually don't have to press the book down much and still get a clear image for reading.
