canon pixma ts705a - problem printing transparencies

Hello dear community,

My Canon Pixma TS705a prints the transparent parts of png images, which I have integrated into a pdf with the layout program "Scribus", just black.
Can anyone help?

Not clear what the problem is.  What do the images look like on your screen?

They look like this on my screen. They are implemented png files, where outside of the colour part the background is turned into transparency.

Can you convert the .pngs to .jpegs to see what happens?

Converted the .pngs to .jpeg or .jpg and even tried out different .png settings. See tests in pictures. It stays the same. But I found that it is only an issue when printed in full colour. The problem does not occur when the file is printed in grayscales.
