I just bought the canon mg7520 and was curious if anyone else noticed my issue. The part where you connect the power cord in back seems to have play in it or somewhat loose. Does anyone else have this issue as well?

Hi buff171010,
There should be a snug, secure connection between the power cord and the printer; if you have ensured that the power cord is plugged competely into the printer and the connection seems loose, please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page so we can further assist you.

I have the same problem with a new, out of the box, Pixma g620. I have also noticed on reddit, that 4 other people have similar issues with 4 different printers, so it seems to me that it is an intended design element with canon printers, and may not necessarily be a problem. My guess is that it is intended to prevent broken circuit board connections, but I could be wrong.
