I have this problem at the moment. My computer is a Mac OS X, Version 10.7.5.
I had no problem for 3 years and this Error Message 2.249.1 just suddenly popped up and I can't understand why. I have no other application connected & I am the only user of this computer & scanner.
Can anyone help me out.

I spent half a day trying to resolve this problem - what finally worked was to uninstall the drivers and then reinstall making sure that I had the correct OS. the problem only appeared when I updated to Maverick.
