Unable to Register PIXMA MG2522

I have the pixma mg2522, cant register it because it says  serial # not valid in the usa,  lol i purchased it at walmart,  can't install driver for printer,  scanner appears to work   cant contact  canon at all  so lame

Try registering it as an MG2520 instead of 2522.
