Hi,
I have a TS9120.
It's been working great for a couple of years.
All of a sudden (after a duplex paper jam) the margins are messed up.
The top margin is less than zero. The bottom margin is 1.5". EVERY TIME in EVERY SETTING.
I don't think this is a software issue:
i've tried printing from numerous applications (adobe indesign, illustrator, word, two different macs, etc) Making sure the margins are set correctly..specifying letter and borderless, as well as cassette and rear tray printing. I've done all the troubleshooting in the page set up. The margin cut-offs are the same for all.
Note: it's been working fine for years prior to this. I know how to use the page settings.
Then I tried scanning and printing: same margin issue!
Which leads me to believe it's a hardware/print head alignment issue.
So I tried troubleshooting and resetting the print head alignment:
I get a 2504 error code even though I have LETTER paper loaded and specified.
Message:
"2504
Unsupported Paper Size
Because paper other than A4/Letter size is loaded, automatic print head alignment cannot be performed.
Select OK on the touch screen and take the corresponding actions below.
It seems that my printer is not recognizing letter paper as letter size anymore?
I know this is a hardware / print head issue because my printer has been working well for years.
Whats up?
Please let me know what I'm missing!
Thanks!

You might have some success with reseting to factory settings
