I am using a MAC with the Monterey system 12.3.1. My Canon Pixma TS9120 will not scan. I have a wireless connection. When I try to scan the message is "Set the PC to start scanning." In the past I've been able to make it scan by unplugging the wires to my airport utility, waiting, and replugging (which wrecked the plugs eventually and I had to have them replaced). I recently had the hard drive replaced. Do I need new software of some kind?

Hi AndrewO,
Please make sure that you have the IJ Scan Utility Lite installed.
This application is available for download here:

My problem is similar. I have a ts9120. I was with tech support getting it back online with my pc, and it will scan now, and print, but i can't scan directly into photoshop elements 2023. That is also a new program, which the printer is not. With my old photoshop program I could scan with no extra steps, but now it's a huge number of steps to do it. Why, if the pc recognizes the printer, does it not recognize the scanner?
There's got to be a better way.
