TS8220 stuck in idle mode. unable to change.

Status of printer remains in idle mode.  No matter what I do I cannot change the mode,

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof) and whether your printer communicates with your computer via Wi-Fi or a USB cable. my computer is running macOS Monterey 12.6.3 and communicates using WiFi.

Hi,

If this message is on the computer, you can try removing the printer from your mac, restart the mac and then add the printer back on. 

If there is a idle message on the printer that wont clear, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.

Printer is stuck on IDLE all the time when using over WiFi from my PC, however when I use my phone I am able to print with ease? Have tried this resolution but to no avail.

Hi,

Did you uninstall the printer driver from your PC and then reinstall the Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.03 file?
