TS3522 Wifi Setup - Nothng Works


I just installed this printer today, and it refuses to connect to my wifi. I tried it on my phone - didn't work. I tried on my Chromebook - didn't work. I reinstalled the app, thinking the setup instructions would be different; I followed the videos on and off the Canon website and couldn't get it to work. I have a cable, but what if my computer isn't working and I need to print something important off my phone? I am stumped and really need help because even the threads I read don't help because the links are broken. Can someone please help without giving me the runaround or a solution I have already tried?
