TS3322 scans paper printouts as documents but scans the original documents as jpg

I take a scan of say my **bleep**, it scans and is saved as a jpg.  But when I scan a printout of my **bleep**, it scans and saves as a pdf.  And both are scanned on the Auto mode of the IJ scan utility.  I am using a windows 7 computer.

How do I get the scanner to scan the printout and save it as a jpg

Hi shashgo,

If you select the photo option in IJ Scan Utility it will save the scans as a JPEG file.
