Hi,
When you print the nozzle check pattern from the printer, make sure a grid appears above the color bars that print out. If there is not grid, you will not be able to print text.
If that is what you are experiencing, try a cleaning and a deep cleaning of the printer nozzles. If this does not resolve the issue, your printer will require service. If you would like to know your service options, please reply with the purchase date of your printer.
