Just setting up my TR8620a printer and trying to print a test page, I keep receiving the same error of "removing the output tray." I continue to do that, but i continue to receive the same message. What am I doing wrong?

Hey there!
I'm not a tech, but I've been moderating the Community for a very, very long time. Take a look at the setup wizard site HERE, and make sure you've removed all of the packing material. Sometimes, something small can be hiding!
If you've done that, and you have the Canon software (from the wizard) installed, and you're still getting an error, I'd suggest getting in touch with support - that way they can double-check to make sure it's not something simple. They're at 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666), Monday through Friday from 9am to 9pm (ET).
