My MG3620 took a dump on me last night (Code B203)
After hours of searching what the problem was and reading countless posts of people saying it's not worth trying to fix, I gave in and just picked up another printer at Wally World
Got a TS3122 and splurged for the $3 extended warranty plan
Anyways, I fired it up, loaded the ink cartidges, filled it with paper and downloaded the software
But when I tried to open the software, I got a pop up that said "this program cannot be used with the current operating system"
Tried opening the same software using the CD-ROM provided, but got the same pop up.
I'm running Windows 8 on my Laptop
Never had a problem like this with my MG3620 as it always connected.
Am I doing sumthin wrong?

Just reset my entire laptop back to factory settings and still have this issue.
The printer connects to my iPad just fine, but not to my laptop

Just called tech support and they were very helpful.
Hold time was short and I got my answer right away.
Unfortunately, this printer is NOT compatible with Windows 8, only Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 (absulutely ridiculous)
I'll be returning it to Wally World and going with another brand that IS compatible with my OS
