If Walmart is advising you to contact Canon as a necessary step in your protection plan's coverage and you haven't already done so, we recommend getting in touch with our PIXMA support team.  You'll need to register your printer HERE first.  It only takes a few minutes and that'll give you access to all of your Canon support options including our support team's 800 number.  It also sounds like your printer's less than a year old which would make it eligible for warranty coverage from Canon USA.

We look forward to your call!

Who is behind the protection plan you bought from Wal-Mart? That's who you go to. But a new Canon printer comes with a CANON warranty.

It's still not clear if the printer was sold by and shipped from Wal-Mart, or some third-party seller. Buying off the Wal-Mart website can be either one. It makes a difference.

I PURCHASED FROM WALMART WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. Walmart will not take back. I cannot find a return shipping label ANYWHERE ON THIS SO CALLED WEBSITE.

Send me a shipping label and I will be gong.

Hello,

The reason you can't find a return shipping label is because we do not offer returns for products purchased from retailers. You would need to contact them again to discuss a return. On our end, we do work with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty, so if you'd like troubleshooting or to process an exchange through that program, our support team can help with that.

This "So called website" isn't going to supply you with a shipping label. It's a user forum.

You are not helping yourself . Do as has been suggested by others.

Can you tell WHO IT IS that is behind the extended warranty you say you got? That is who you go to if a Canon COMPANY warranty has expired.

So stop yelling here, please.

It was brand new. Bought from local Walmart store, with a 2 year warranty by Allstate. I think it was $25 because the printer is no longer manufactured.

Whom is going to take the responsibility for this printer? It was purchased; brand  new; from Walmart, with a 2 year warranty by Allstate. Walmart will not take it back because it is out of their 30 day window. Can't find any return information from Canon.

Who's problem is it?

We have answered your question more than once. We do not accept returns for items not purchased from our shop. Please contact Walmart, or the group who holds your extended warranty.

Samantha W: so Canon sells printers in retailers, but DO NOT take responsibility for them when they need to be returned???? Grrrrrreat business model!
