Setting up printing format. 3522

I was printing  a user manual for a smart phone. After a lot of false starts I finally got just what I needed.

Printing in booklet format, 2 pages to a sheet and auto duplex so I got 4 manual pages on one sheet of paper The manual pages are half size of 8.5 by 11.  I could print 16 manual pages at one time on 4 sheets of paper.  Exactly what I needed. It would take 20 runs to do the whole job. cutting the sheets in half everything was fine.

Then disaster struck! the printer failed. A call to Canon got a replacment in warrantee.

But now I have lost the setup to print in the right format. I can't duplicate the results and I am only half way through the job.

Coming off the printer, I get a sheet of paper that has 2 manual pages on one side and 2 more on the other side. If I run 6 sheets at a time I get 24 manual pages. I am totally impressed at the software that does it so well.

But now I have lost the recipe for selecting the printing parameters. Can someone help. Is there a manual for the printer that describes the ptoper set-up?

Ever grateful for assistance or direction on finding what the various printer parameters mean.

Hi Charlie-NP,

The user's manual for the PIXMA MG3522 can be downloaded from the Canon USA website.  Please click here to go to the Brochures and Manuals page for the printer.  Once on the initial download page for your model, please do the following:

1. Please select your language preference from the "LANGUAGE" section.

2. When the manuals are displayed, please click on the MG3500 series User's Manual you would like to download applicable to the operating system that is on your computer from the GUIDES AND MANUALS section. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click on the checkbox below the DOWNLOAD button, then click the red DOWNLOAD button to begin the download. The time for the download process may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.
