Scanner not available when uploading Pixma 2522 (windows 11)

I have a new laptop and had considerable trouble loading this printer. Now its working but the scanner isn't and when i I open the quick menu there are no options for the scanner. I need this scanner.

Is this the driver you installed?

Thanks. I just tried to install that driver and couldnt get the printer recognized. I'm confused because it will print.
