Scan in inverted color

Hi, I am legally blind and cant read black text on white. I need to invert my scanned documents to white letters on black background. Is there a way to do this? I have a Canon MP495

Hi elweezo,

Inverting black and white using the scanner interface of your PIXMA MP495 is not supported.  To invert the colors, the item would have to be scanned and then inverted using image editing software such as Adboe Photoshop or Jasc Paint Shop Pro.

None of the scanners offered by Canon have this feature.
