Question? PIXMA TR150 Glossy Paper

I just bought brand new glossy photo paper for my brand new PIXMA TR150.I wanted to try it out? However its not a cannon product,in fact i got it at target..I dont want to break my printer and wanted to no is it safe to use glossy paper of any kind? is paper universal?

Most glossy photo paper designed for use in an inkjet printer will work in the printer. There will be some exceptions. Thicker art style glossy papers or fine art papers might not work. To see if I can give a more precise answer, could you reply to this message with the information below.

2. What is the name of the glossy paper on the label?
3. What size is the paper?
