I just purchased Canon's All-In-One TR8620a via Staples' online website.
I've never had a Canon printer that does not have a place for printed documents to land. On my Canon MX922, the display screen is on the top of the machine & not on the front panel. The front panel opens up to be the "shelf" for printed documents to land on, and has a piece that looks like a ruler that extends to keep the printed documents from falling onto the floor.
This new printer requires you to lift the front panel, which houses the display screen, to print out a document.
Unless I have overlooked something, when setting up my new printer, there is NO Place for the document to land except the floor -- regardless of whether you use the cassette or the rear paper tray to feed the paper.
Does anyone know of a way of keeping the printed out documents from being "spit out" and ending up on the floor without my having to catch it with my hands??? Or, does anyone know if there is an accessory piece I can purchase that will attach to the bottom front edge of the printer that will "catch" the printed out documents?
Thank you in advance for your help.

There is a pullout tray with a flip stop in the paper output area. Put your finger in and find a depression that you can use to slide out.
