I have a PIXMA G7020 printer and it will not keep the print from Cassette settings. Every single time I try to print it wants to print from the rear tray. I have to change the settings to cassette each and every time! I’ve gone through the set up multiple times and pick cassette but it won’t keep my settings. This defeats the purpose of WiFi printing or the ability to print from my phone. Super frustrating!!!! I’m about to throw this expensive printer in the garbage!

Are you using the Canon App/Software or AirPrint?

Greetings,
Also take a close look at this KB article which outlines how to register paper types and source. It can be done in two places. On the printer and in the print driver.
