I see others have reported similar issues but none of the responses they received have helped resolved my issue.
We purchased a new Canon Pixma MG3022 and it came with new ink cartridges. I opened both cartridges and put them into the printer as instructed, and the printer keeps flashing yellow lights and giving errors that the black ink is nearly empty.
These are the same ink jets that came with the printer and both were in secure packages that had not been opened. It gave this message from the first time I tried to print. I hoped that the system would finally recognise that the ink not empty, but instead it continues to give this message and I have no idea how to resolve it.
Any idea how I can fix this? I am tempted to take it back to the store for a refund and purchase a different item. Thanks for any help you can offer
